Two members of Card Saver’s Sales Team threw their hats in the ring in the name of charity last Saturday.
Jack Fletcher and Kyle Aspindle went head to head in a charity white-collar boxing match to raise money for local charities Men’s Shed and Sister Circle.
All total of £2000 was taken on the night, with part of the total amount being donated for Blackpool Carer’s Centre, who provide a range of services to support and enhance the lives of unpaid carers of all ages throughout Blackpool and The Fylde Coast.
The charity event was hosted by Maxi Fitness Gym, in association with McGann Boxing and Fitness, at Marine Hall in Fleetwood.
“A great success and a fantastic night with the whole of Fleetwood coming together helping raise money for local charities” said event organiser, Maxine Garrett, of Maxi Fitness Gym.
Men’s Shed is a Fleetwood-based charity offering peer support, help, advice and friendship to members. It provides people with a place to share their experiences and helps them open up emotionally, making a real difference to the lives of local residents.
Sister Circle is also based in Fleetwood and offers similar support, helping those who are struggling with their mental health or just want a friendly face to talk to.
