Two members of Card Saver’s Sales Team are throwing their hats in the ring in the name of charity.
Jack Fletcher and Kyle Aspindle are going head to head in a charity white collar boxing match to raise money for local charities Men’s Shed, Sister Circle.
Donations will also be taken on the night for Blackpool Carer’s Centre, who provide a range of services to support and enhance the lives of unpaid carers of all ages throughout Blackpool and The Fylde Coast.
The charity event is hosted by Maxi Fitness Gym, in association with McGann Boxing and Fitness, and will be held at Marine Hall in Fleetwood on Saturday 5th October.
“I wanted to take part in this event to raise money for a good cause while pushing myself to get mentally and physically fit,” said Sales Manager, Jack.
“I wanted to do something for a good cause and for myself,” said Kyle. “It seemed fitting to take on a challenge of such intensity both mentally and physically and challenging my manager has given me so much motivation.”
Ross Chapman, Card Saver’s Business Development Director, said:
“The lads are raising money for three worthy local charities, so I want everyone to get behind them by attending the event or by donating to the charities. I’m looking forward to the match and I’ll be cheering them on from my ringside seat.”
Men’s Shed is a Fleetwood-based charity offering peer support, help, advice and friendship to members. It provides people with a place to share their experiences and helps them open up emotionally, making a real difference to the lives of local residents.
Sister Circle is also based in Fleetwood and offers similar support, helping those who are struggling with their mental health or just want a friendly face to talk to.
Tickets are now on sale, so if you want to show your support and bag a ringside seat, email Jack on Jack.Fletcher@card-saver.co.uk to purchase your tickets.
